Virgil takes Brains and Tin-Tin to the Middle East, aboard Thunderbird 2, were they meet up with Professor Blakely
Dive on The Lost TempleEdit
Brains and Tin-Tin use scuba gear to dive in and take a first look at the Lost temple. Brains removes a rock sample from the central column to take back for Professor Blakely to examine, but the Hood, observing from his 3E Submarine, believes that they have found the treasure already.
Visit From A Bedouin TribesmanEdit
During the night the Hood, disguised as a Bedouin tribesman, knocks on the door of the expedition caravan, and when Brains opens the door, the Hood hypnotizes him.
The next morning, Brains regains consciousness to find himself buried up to his neck in desert sand. He calls for help, but Tin-Tin and Professor Blakely are still unconscious. The Hood appears, demanding to know where the treasure is, but Brains is unable to tell him.
Rescued In The Nick Of TimeEdit
Brains Dives on The Temple At NightEdit
That night Brains makes a second dive into the lake, discovering treasure stored in one of the temple's pillars. He trips over an alarm set by the Hood and following a series of wires along the lake bed, soon runs into the Hood, who hypnotizes him once again.
The Hood blows up the temple to try and reveal the hidden treasure, but traps Brains beneath one of the columns in the process.
Brains is trapped beneath a column, but Scott brings down a Hydrostatic Hoist which he and Gordon are able to use to lift the column. Gordon pulls Brains clear just as the cords on the hoist snaps and the column crashes back on to the lake bed.
