Centery 21

Century 21 Merchandising produced a series of Mini albums in 1965. In most cases, they consisted of audio clips from the TV episodes, with some added narration provided by one of the main characters. The albums were released in the UK under the "Century 21 Records" label, and they were pressed by Pye Records Ltd. The first Thunderbirds themed record was released in 1965, and was titled "Introducing Thunderbirds". They retailed in the shops for 7/11, rising to 8/- by the end of 1966, which was quite a considerable amount of money. They were still being sold in record shops as late as 1971 when the retail price had risen to 50 pence (10/-).

The mini albums were also released in Australia under the "Astor Records" label and were licensed to be produced and distributed by Astor in Sydney.

The EP (7in extended play) records have the prefix "MA" for "Mini Album", the running time for each record was about 21 minutes. LP (12in Long play) records show the prefix "LA" for "Long play album".
