Colonel Casey is a character from the Thunderbirds Are Go! television series. She is the tough and straightforward chief commanding officer of the Global Defence Force, and their liaison with International Rescue. As an old friend of Jeff Tracy, Colonel Casey's approval and trust for his idea of International Rescue has allowed the non-profit organisation its top-secret security and the freedom to operate.

Professor Alice Lungren accidentally locks herself inside a vault which is being used to store unstable matter. There is only one person who has successfully broken into a vault like this - Parker. Colonel Casey of the GDF recruits Parker for the job, but the safe cracker ends up locking himself and Lady Penelope inside as well. Virgil and Scott transport the vault to an isolated area on Thunderbird 2, where Parker and Penelope must try and free themselves and the scientist before the anti-matter explodes.
Colonel Casey recruits the help of International Rescue to stage a purchase of a stolen repulsor magnet ray, but when new kitchen recruit Ned Tedford accidental presses the button that signals the GDF to raid the premises prematurely. Chaos breaks loose resulting in Parker trapped inside a stolen GDF flyer crashing down into a nearby factory and the recovery of the stolen magnet.
A geological survey team looking for Scandium ore gets trapped when a huge earth-breaking vehicle, controlled by a villain known only as the Mechanic, causes them to fall into a narrow crevice. Thunderbirds 1 and 2 are dispatched, but later Thunderbird Shadow joins the crew after the Mechanic takes out several GDF fliers. Thunderbird 2 is also attacked from the Earthbreaker and has no choice but to crashland back on Tracy Island. Meanwhile, Lady Penelope and Parker visit the Hood in Parkmoor Scrubs prison to find out more about this mysterious new villain.
