Space Observatory 3 is a scanning satellite that appears in The Impostors. Its job is to cover the South Pacific region.
When it goes out of action with an antenna fault, technician Elliot suits up and goes outside to effect repairs. Unfortunately, his jetpack goes haywire, thrusting him away from the satellite. Elliot has just three hours of oxygen left, but is rescued in the nick of time by Alan and Scott in Thunderbird 3.
