Frank Bellamy (May 21, 1917 - July 5, 1976) was a well known artist who was the primary illustrator of the Thunderbirds comic strip in TV Century 21, between 1965 and 1969.
He also illustrated other Supermarionation themed strips such as Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and Joe 90.
Frank's work was innovative in its graphic effects and sophisticated use of colour, and in the dynamic manner in which it broke out of the then-traditional grid system.
