Grandma Tracy/Biography

Grandma appears in 17 episodes: Terror in New York City, Day of Disaster, Desperate Intruder, End Of The Road, The Uninvited, Operation Crash-Dive, Vault Of Death, The Mighty Atom, The Man From MI.5, Cry Wolf, Move And You're Dead, The Duchess Assignment, Attack of the Alligators!, The Cham-Cham, Lord Parker's 'Oliday, Ricochet, and Give or Take a Million.

She also appears (albeit in a non-speaking role) in the movie Thunderbird 6.

Operation Crash-Dive[]

Oh, for Pete's sake: in the Tracy Villa kitchen, Grandma and Tin-Tin have just put a freshly-made batch of apple pies into the oven - what a time for the fuse to blow!

And, just guess who gets "volunteered" to go and fix it...

Move and You're Dead[]

After winning the Parola Sands motor race, Alan tele-calls Grandma, from the parking lot, then drives to her house in his BR2 racing car to collect her. From there, the two Tracys head off for a rendezvous with Thunderbird 2 - but their car is hijacked by Victor Gomez and Johnny Gillespie, who force them at gunpoint to drive out onto the centre of the San Miguel Bridge.

Terror in New York City[]

Ned Cook's wish that "somehow, my words will reach those gallant people" who saved him and his cameraman Joe from certain death, is - unknown to him - granted: for International Rescue (including Grandma, in a cameo role) is seated in the back of the theatre where his TV show is on the air...

End of the Road[]

Grandma's just completed a new dress for Tin-Tin - one she thinks Alan would like "(He's) a mighty handsome boy!") - but then Eddie Houseman, an old flame of Tin-Tin's, unexpectedly arrives on Tracy Island to visit her...

Day of Disaster[]

Oops: while prepping apple pie in the kitchen, Grandma - quite accidently - dropped her Personal Edible Transmitter (raspberry-flavored, no less) into the mix. While eating the pie, someone - just as inadvertently - swallowed it!

To the amusement of the rest of the family, that "someone" turned out to be Jeff!

Desperate Intruder[]

Why, Grandma wonders aloud, would Tin-Tin be off with Brains on the expedition to Lake Anasta's sunken temple, in search of treasure? Surely she has some very nice jewelry of her own, already! But when the expedition fails to call in as scheduled to Tracy Island - and the boys head out to the lake in Thunderbirds 1 and 2, to find out why - wonder turns into worry...

The Man from MI.5[]

Grandma joins Jeff and Tin-Tin for some relaxation down at the Tracy Villa pool, as they observe Brains preparing to launch his latest experiment - one that might be somewhat short-lived as Alan is presently expected poolside, for a swim...

Cry Wolf[]

Grandma lays out a very generous luncheon for Bob and Tony Williams - the two young Australian boys Scott is bringing to Tracy Island, aboard Thunderbird 1, for a visit. When Tin-Tin observes that she's cooked up enough food "for an army," Grandma - remembering the five young grandsons she helped her son Jeff raise, back in the day - says she's none too sure she's made enough!

The Duchess Assignment[]

Tailor-made: Grandma looks in on Tin-Tin in the Tracy Villa kitchen, in the course of seeking out son Jeff - who, it turns out, has received a certain very important parcel in the post...from no less than the prestigious tailoring firm Saville Row, in far-off England...

Attack of the Alligators![]

He said, she said: when contact is lost with John - and Alan and Virgil set out in Thunderbird 2 to make needed (and risky) repairs to Tracy Island's aerial mast - Jeff assures Grandma that "there's nothing to worry about" when she voices concern about her grandsons' safety. But Thunderbird 5 still isn't responding: "I thought you said a moment ago there was nothing to worry about..."

The Cham-Cham[]

"I just can't get Brains and Alan to eat anything today," Grandma tells Jeff. "They say they haven't got time..." Neither could certain military aircraft - or even the undercover Lady Penelope and Tin-Tin- unless the boys can crack a mysterious code, embedded in (of all things) a popular hit song...

Lord Parkers 'Oliday[]

"What a wonderful sunset, Jeff," Grandma sighs, as she and he watch the spectacle of the sun sinking into the South Pacific, from the verandah of the Tracy Villa. "It holds no pleasure for me just now," says he. "As the sun sets here, on the other side of the world, it will rise on sleeping Monte Bianco" - the resort town facing a fiery doom unless International Rescue can reach it in time...

Ricochet[]

Tin-Tin thinks DJ Rick O'Shea is "just minty" - much to Alan's annoyance (and scarcely-concealed jealousy). Amidst their calling each other "silly," though, Grandma calls for a truce: "Now, now, you two. Brains and Virgil will be back soon (from Thunderbird 5), don't let them find you quarreling..."
