Ostensibly a weather station in Australia's Northern Territory, Dunsley Tracker is in fact a satellite tracking facility, run by Mr. Williams, and is engaged in top-security research for the military.
Located at Charity Springs, Dunsley Tracker - home to Mr Williams and his young sons Bob and Tony - is central to the events of the episode Cry Wolf.
The "Dark Room"[]
Mr Williams tells his boys that his "dark room" is full of breakable things, so they mustn't enter - thus keeping them unaware of the concealed room's true purpose, and the special tracking equipment it contains...
Communications[]
Williams is able to see and talk to whoever is outside the Dark Room, via a video link.
Enter The Hood...[]
Convinced that Dunsley Tracker is no mere "weather station," The Hood attempts to break into Williams' control room - but Williams is able to get a warning off to his superior, Colonel Jameson, who orders him to destroy the top-secret spy-satellite photos, as assistance cannot reach his remote location for at least three hours...
But it's already too late: having commandeered a welding torch, The Hood has finally burned his way through the security door - and escapes with the photos, leaving the unconscious Williams sprawled on the floor...
"Internashnul Rescue" Base[]
Bob and Tony have set up their own home-made IR headquarters, with table-top launching facilities. Scott is invited to have a go, but proves too heavy for the boys' set-up - and haplessly crashes their soapbox Thunderbird 2 into the chicken coop in the barn!
Trivia[]
- Although all of the characters refer to Williams' station as "Dunsley Tracker", a caption on an alert signal reads "Densley Tracker."
- In addition to a poster of an American fighter jet from the 1960s, the boys' bedroom wall has a picture of the moon landing on it, an event that happened over a century ago.
