- "Are those kids gonna be surprised!"
— Virgil Tracy
The Container Rocket and its sister-ship, the Christmas Rocket, feature prominently in Give or Take a Million.
Both were donated by Saunders Automations (SA), to help raise funds for a new solar therapy wing at Coralville Children's Hospital.
Container Rocket: Trial Flight[]
From SA's high-tech/high-security base, the Container Rocket - its cargo canister identically-weighted to the one the Christmas Rocket will carry - blasts off without incident, on its ten-minute flight to Coralville. The canister then separates from the rocket - which continues onward - and floats down on a parachute, to a safe landing in the hospital's car park.
Christmas Rocket: Up on the Rooftop...[]
...of Harman's Department Store in New York City, the preparation and launch of the Christmas Rocket - with its special cargo of holiday gifts, donated by Harman's, for the children at Coralville - are broadcast live on television.
