Derek Black c. 1970
Derek Black worked in the film industry in the 1960s and early 1970s, mainly as a camera operator. He was a location unit camera operator on the 1968 feature film Thunderbird 6. For said film, he shot footage of the Tiger Moth biplane sequences. Black also worked for Gerry and Sylvia Anderson on Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967) and UFO (1970-71).
Outside of AP Films, Black was a camera operator on The Informers (1963).
