The missile firing "Skyhawk" belonged to Colonel Tim Casey and was piloted by a Red Arrow pilot, Goddard.
In Edge Of Impact, Colonel Casey made a surprise visit to Tracy Island to see his old friend, Jeff Tracy.

A Trip to Tracy Island[]
Tim Casey is replaced for the test programme on Red Arrow 2, so he decides to pay an unexpected call on his old friend Jeff Tracy on Tracy Island.
He Is taken there is a "Skyhawk jet" flown by A Red Arrow pilot Goddard, who he then gets to do a an attack run over Tracy Villa and release a banner with the words "Greetings Jeff Tracy" on it.

- The jet later made an appearance in Martian Invasion, on Stapleton Airfield.
- It also appeared on a Somportex gum card.
